The home cooking encompasses traditional pub favourites together with a real variety of international influences. Chalked up on boards, the menu is in a constant state of change, dictated by seasonal produce and market availability.

 

Game and venison, in season, fresh fish from Brixham or Lymington and locally sourced meat all go to make for a fresh eating experience.

CHRISTMAS MENU:

This year our menu reflects local produce and winter flavours.

The price per head excludes coffee (not everyone wants it!)

£22 for two courses

£27 for three

(Crackers are included)

The small print:

The minimum number required for the menu is 12. (This is open to a certain amount of negotiation taking in to account inevitable absentees!)

A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person is due at the time of booking, your table is not 100% booked until we have received this.

Absentees notified to us less than 24 hours before the day of the booking will forfeit their deposit.

Once the booking is confirmed we will need your choices no later than 10 days before the date of the booking.

We will endeavour to accommodate personal adjustments to the menu within reason and ask that you notify us of any dietary concerns in plenty of time. (Our gravy is gluten and dairy free.)

We are not able to offer a mixture of special menu and regular menu items for one booking.

The menu is for two or three courses only.

We have included vegan options for all three courses however for vegetarians we will addsome delicious vintage cheddar to the pastry parcel! Let us know....
